So here I am at around half-one in the afternoon, Greenwich time, excited for the new season of MLP: Friendship is Magic. Suddenly realise that I don't know exactly what time the first episode airs, and after a bit of rooting around - it had just struck 2 o'clock - and some quick math I discovered that the episode was playing RIGHT NOW (Applebloom style), resulting in some whimpering and a mad dash to ED to find a good stream. Success.
So, the new antagonist. Discord.
I freaking love that guy.
He managed to bring both comic relief and a subtle touch of freakiness to FiM, which was...well, rather refreshing. It's nice to see more of a mind-fuck character taking a role without making it too silly. Pinkie Pie in 'Party of One' doesn't count. Not to mention he's voiced by Q; although I haven't seen Star Trek, I've been assured that he's seriously awesome. Discord is convincing me.
Frankly I've yet to have my second cup of coffee (thus not thinking clearly yet) and as I don't want to throw too many spoilers out there I'm not going to leave off writing a more precise review.
Although, I must say, even though Pinkie Pie isn't best pony for me, I felt saddened by Discord messing with her the most.
Love to the bronies!~♥
